Twice a month, our 3s and Pre-K classes will gather to go to God’s House in the Chapel. The two’s classes will come once a month. It is a very special time for the children and WP staff to share together as we praise Him and learn more about how He blesses us. During this time we praise God through stories, songs, sign-language and prayer. Below is a special prayer the children will learn in God’s House and a summary of what we will be talking about each month. These themes, verses, songs and prayer will be incorporated in the classrooms and can be used at home, as well.

SEPTEMBER
Celebrating God’s Love in God’s House
We celebrate in a special place – God’s House – the chapel. We celebrate in God’s House with instruments and singing.

Give Thanks to the Lord
Any time is a good time to thank God for our blessings. We will tell the story of the boy who shared his lunch. It is good to share what we have with others.

Getting Ready for Baby Jesus
Angels bring good news from God. We can share the good new wherever we go. Joseph and Mary got ready for Baby Jesus. We celebrate the birth of Jesus.

The Light of Christ Has Come into the World
We can shine when we have the love of Jesus in our Hearts. A saint is one who lets the light of Christ shine through.

We Learn About Jesus’ Life and the Names We Call Him
There are many names for Jesus. Jesus is our Savior because He died and was resurrected for us. Jesus is our Friend. The disciples followed Jesus because He is the King of Kings.

Following Jesus and Obeying God
Jesus befriends Zaccheus and Zaccheus decides to follow Jesus in his heart from that day on. Noah listened to God’s voice and obeyed God’s plan. We can be good listeners of God.
